Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a severe soreness that develops on my 2nd. smallest toe on my right foot, apparently when I wear shoes that may fit somewhat tightly or if I tie my shoelaces tightly. It feels like a pinched nerve or something, when it s flared up it s nothing short of agonizing. I really can t recall exactly how far back this goes, though I d say no less than 15 years, give or take (I m 46, by the way). Can you give me any idea what it could possibly be, maybe gout?
Tight does can cause Peroneal nerve entrapment and subtle like numbness. Kindly avoid using that shoe. Use looser and comfortable fit shoes. Eat plenty of green leafy vegetables. Keep well hydrated. Get checkup for Diabetes.
Thanking you.
Regards,
Dr. Aashish Raghu
