Suggest Remedy For Severely Hyperactive Thyroid, Vertigo And Weightloss

I got told last November I needed a biopsy done on my thyroid by the emergency room that all my glands were swollen but no infection that my thyroid levels were off. My family doctor decided to just monitor my blood work and the levels remained off then this past April I was in a car wreck an m.r.i on my neck showed growth on my thyroid after doing an ultrasound, thyroid scan, and radio-iodine uptake test the technician at the hospital said my thyroid was severely hyperactive and something needed to be done this was in June the endocrinologist my family doctor referred me to said November 4 is the earliest they can see me. I have been suffering from vertigo since June especially when laying I have lost alot of weight almost no appetite now and each time I eat or do just limited activity my chest hurts my heart pounds and my ears ring constantly is there anything I can do to help these symptoms til I see the specialist and any warning signs I should be aware of to seek emergency medical treatment

Hello,
I have gone carefully through your report and I would give you some suggestions.
The symptoms you have correlate with those of hyperthyroidism or over active thyroid function. I would recommend to start the treatment as soon as possible and not to wait to much. The most important and threatening symptom is the high heart rate.
I would suggest you to go to the E.R because you need an ECG to see how your heart rate is and if there is any arrhythmia that must be treated immediately.
The treatment of hyperthyroidism lasts about 12 months and after that you may discuss with your treating doctor for an definite treatment of the nodule (to remove it surgically or with radioactive iodine).
Hope the suggestions will help.

Best wishes,
Dr.m.Guni
