Suggest Remedy For Sharp Pain In Throat With Stiff Neck

Suddenly the right side of my throat has a sharp pain that seems to move in a downward motion every time I swallow. At first I thought it was a muscle/stiff neck or something (today was the first time I worked a wedding as an assistant, so I was carrying a big bag and standing/walking all day). But i'm not sure if this is the cause.

Should I be worried? What is happening, and what should I do? This has never happened before. I'd like to add that if I tilt my head to make my ear almost touch either of my shoulders and swallow, I don't feel the pain.
