Suggest Remedy For Shortness Of Breath

Yes my mom was told she had à slite case if asthma à while ago she was put on advair ,but did use it after the first week because she arènes fine ,for the past few weeks she Has been out of breathe ,doctors throught it was à leaky valuve ,but had tests today and they don t feel the valve is causing this,she just remembered that she was told that she had à slite case of asthma so she is thinking of trying the advairw ,if this is not the asthma causing the shortness of breathe will the advair hurt her to try it anyway

i completely understand your query
diagnosing asthma is basically based on symptoms of breathlessness , wheeze , chest tightness either continous or occasionally during day or can be during night , associated symptoms can be allergic like allergy to a substance or allergic rhinitis .
diagnosis xan be confirmed by spirometry of pefr monitoring .
cardiac valvular diseases can be ruled out by 2 d echocardiography
combination of salmetral and fluticasone is an inhaled drug for asthma and has side effects , more in longterm.
disscuss all these treatment and diagnostic modalities with your treating physician
