Suggest Remedy For Side Effects Post Withdrawal From Abilify

I have recently tapered off of abilify. Since I stopped taking 2mg a day I have been suffering with severe debilitating headaches, lethargy, loss of appetite, excessive sleeping, and getting more anxiety and depressed. Due to the high price of this prescription, even with insurance is not attainable financially. Are there other medications in this class that have the same effect, but are less pricey?

Hello,

I suggest to not stop this medication abruptly because of the side effects. Yes there are many medications that have lower price and belong the same class like abilify but you have to consult with your doctor which medications is the best for your condition.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
