Suggest Remedy For Sinus Infection And Severe Throat Pain

I Have had a sinus infection for the past month. I've seen the ENT and waiting to get a cat scan. But the drainage has irritated my throat and ears to where I can't sleep. I have been to the doc and hospital. I have taken steroids and antibiotics but nothing has helped. The doctor has given me nothing for pain so I have been unable to sleep for nights on end. As you can imagine it am exhausted. Someone gave me an adderall yesterday and said it would help give me energy to get through the day. As you can see its 3 am and I'm up because my throat. I'm wanting g to go to the Emergency room but I'm afraid if they want to do a blood test for whatever reason that the adderall will show up.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sinus infection and severe throat pain means you are suffering from condition known as chronic sinusitis. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to take nasal decongestant sprays, antihistamines and antibiotic combination as infection is present. You should take plenty of liquids. Maintain proper oral hygiene. Do warm saline gargles. Co amoxiclav is best treatment option. You should take steam inhalation. Visit ENT specialist once and get it examined. Go for paranasal sinus X ray and get puncture and drainage of sinus if required. You can go for surgical reconstruction of opening after proper prescription. Avoid intake of sharp, spicy and fried food substances.
