Suggest Remedy For Skin Infections

I have had several treatments of Inj. intralesional and kenalog for a very minor skin condition.However, it doesn t seem to be working. Any other suggestions? I see my dermitalogist very 6 weeks.I m tired of the routine and this isn t helping.your thoughts.

Hello,

As per your case history of skin infection, my treatment advice is:

1. Do not scratch the lesion as it may worsen the condition.
2. Apply a mild antibiotic plus steroid cream like Fusiderm-B cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like Levocetirizine twice daily for 7 to 10 days.

If the problem persists, consult a dermatologist.
