I uave had problems with my feetaince I was about 14, I m now 18 and it s becoming an annoyance that I have to have certain socks to wear different types of shoes and sometimes I cannot wear the shoe at all. My big toes on the outside have very hard dead skin, I can almost dig my nail into the hardened skin area as hard as possible and not feel a thing. Also, one of my feet have started to get dry and peeling skin in between my toes, I have also just noticed a small spot about half the size of a pea that look like a gel like substance in it. I m to scared to pop it incase I make it worse, any advice would be great.
Hi. As per your case history you are having callosity on feet. My treatment advice is - 1. Don't squeeze the lesions as it may worsen the condition. 2. Apply a salicylic acid plus lactic acid lotion like Salactin paint once at night on hard part. 3. Take a vitamin A supplement once daily for 2 months. 4. Other treatment options are cauterization and laser ablation done by a dermato-surgeon.
Thanks. Dr. Harshit bhachech. MBBS, DDVL.
