Suggest Remedy For Small White Mass In The Nasal Passage

Hi:

I noticed early this week that my right nasal passage felt very dry. I took a look and discovered that there is a very small white mass, not scab. it does not appear to have anything in it but it feels meaty like a callous or foot corn. I don't remember injuring or scratching my nose. What might this be and what suggestions do you have i can try over the counter? Thank You.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain a small white mass in the nasal passage that looks meaty/fleshy might be a nasal polyp and can occur due to inflammation and irritation in the nasal lining and can occur due to conditions like rhinitis, sinusitis, foreign body impaction in the nose, chronic sinus or nasal infections etc..

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can de a clinical examination and in case of nasal polyp he can advise you to put steroid nasal drops as many a times it help in shrinkage of the polyp..
In case if it does not resolve, it can be removed surgically..
