Suggest Remedy For Sore Testicles With Fever,chills,aches,coughing And Sore Throat

My boyfriend is experiencing a sore right testical along with usual flu like symptoms of chills, fever, coughing, achiness and sore throat. Are these related and does it mean something more serious? Should he see a doctor or just have him stay home and rest with some regular medicine?

Hi.
He has to be taken to the Doctor for a proper clinical examination and investigations of blood - urine and ultrasonography of the scrotum and the abdomen.
I think he needs a proper long 3 week course of an antibiotic and supportive medicines,
This looks to be orchitis to me . more than the regular flu.
