Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern..

As per your complain as you are suffering from cold that is a viral infection I would like to tell you that excessive salivation is due to irritation of the salivary glands secondary to infection leading to excessive salivation and it is a commonly seen symptom..
I would suggest you to take antibiotics like Azithromycin or Cephalexin to treat or prevent secondary bacterial infection, anti-allergics like Levocetrizine, decongestant like Pseudoephadrine and mucolytics like Ambroxol..
Do warm saline gargles, steam inhalations and use a humidifier in your room..
Sip on plenty of warm water..
As gradually the infection will subside you will start feeling better and problem of excessive salivation will also subside..

Hope this information helps.

Thanks and regards.
