Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat And Feeling Of Something Stuck In Throat After Swallowing A Chewing Gum
The other day, I was chewing gum and a small piece went down my throat. A day later, my throat began to be sore. When I try to cough the piece up, i end up gagging like I'm gonna throw up, but nothing comes up. But when I swallow, I feel it and it's also even hard for me swallow. Anything I can do, eat, or drink to get the small piece of gum out of my throat?
As per your query you had chew gum and a piece of it struck to your throat which is causing soreness and feeling of obstruction over there. Well it can not be removed with any type of food materials as such as its very sticky and it is acting like a foreign body over there and collecting infection around it by obstructing passage.
I would suggest you to visit gastroenterologist and get fibroptic scan done and get it removed by simple operative procedure. You can visit ENT specialist as well for this. Try to visit as early as you can and try to fix the problem as it is definitely a matter to be worry about.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
Get Well Soon.
Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
