Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat And Red Spots

29, Female, healthy. Started with a soar throat - treated with antibotics. Two weeks later came back worse with no voice, soar throat, and in chest. Been off antibotics for a month - soar throat almost every day with a red spot on one side. Voice with crack and pain will shoot to throat.

Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Chronic pharyngitis may be due to chronic allergies or GERD or TB larynx or post nasal discharge etcetera.

Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food and alcohol. Use tablet pantaprazole before breakfast for one week.

Please consult your doctor who will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu
