Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat, Earache, Chest And Joint Pains
ive been sick for over a month i had a sore throat to began with then had swollen neck glands, runny and stuffed nose, pain in chest, a hard time breathing, ear ache, head ache, over all joint pain so about two weeks ago i went to the doctor and he prescribed me augmentin 500MG one tablet every 12 hour for 7 days i took all those on time its been 4 days since the 7 day period and feel like im getting worse again

Hi Dear ,
As per your query you have sore throat , ear ache along with chest and joint pain . Well the symptoms you mention in query probably occurring due to viral infection . As augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is an antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections ir is not working in your case . I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination as infection has already spread to ear and in respiratory track . Doctor may order throat swab test , viral culture test , complete blood profile and examine ear with otoscope . Doctor may prescribe antiviral drugs ( acyclovir ) ant leat for a week along with decongestants and anti inflammatory . Doctor may also refer you to cardiologist if he/she find that chest pain is due to cardiac problem . For ow do warm saline gargles , take steam , take proper rest , keep yourself hydrate and applu dry hot compresses to ear .
