Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hello,

Don't worry he may be suffering from acute pharyngitis. It may be due viral or bacterial infection. Use salt water gargling if possible. use amoxicillin with clavulinic acid twice a day according to the weight. If no improvement please consult with your ENT specialist he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
