Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat

my daugther would be 3years old in december, yesterday evening, she complained of sorethroat and a little cough, i gave her herbal cough syrup(liquifritta) by 12midnight she was throwing up phelgm, had temperature of 39degrees and now has chesty kind of cough.
pls help

hi and thanks for the query,
your daughter needs to be examined to rule out chest infection.
respiratory tract infections are frequently viral in nature hence symptomatic treament will suffice.
give her paracetamol for the fever and domperidone for vomiting.
