Suggest Remedy For Sore Throat, headache And Pressure In Chest

Hi, for the past month I haven't felt at all well, I've had a cold, a urine infection, an absess in my tooth, have been on antibiotics twice this month. I am getting waves of sickness and very light heads, I am definatley not pregant as I have just had my period. I finished my last course of antibiotics last Thursday. I now have a sore throat and banginig headache as well as pressure on my chest and a throbbing pain in my left hand, as If there is a trapped nerve or sumthing, quite painful, I have never felt this sick ever and was wondering if it is just a mixed bag of things or is there something else? Thanks

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of sore throat, headache and pressure in chest. Well these symptoms are due to sinusitis and upper respiratory tract infection. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to do warm saline gargles 2-3 times a day. Maintain proper hygiene and drink plenty of fluids. Consult ENT specialist for proper diagnosis. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics amoxiclav at least for 10 days along with decongestant. You should take steam inhalation twice a day. Take tepid sponging if it is severe headache. Take paracetamol for fever and headache. Maintain proper hygiene. Drink plenty of water and liquids. Doctor may order test like swab test , blood test , and viral culture test to rule out condition like acid reflux and strep throat.

Hope your concern has been resolved.
