Suggest Remedy For Soreness And Swelling Around Knuckle Of Finger

Hi, I dislocated my little finger 4 weeks ago and pulled my finger back up myself and heard crunching sound - presumed torn ligaments. I had xray last week to confirm nothing broken. I have swelling around knuckle and finger is pointing downwards. I can bend a little from knuckle - should I keep trying to move finger or rest for few more weeks? Worried there is tendon damage.
