You most likely have developed a vaginal yeast infection from the antibiotic prescribed to treat your kidney infection. An over-the-counter medication to treat vaginal yeast infections should clear up the problem. Try a 7 day cream because the cream can be soothing on the outside of your vagina, and you can put it in the opening but your should not insert an applicator inside if you're dilated. If this does not make you feel better within a week, your should have a vaginal examination by your doctor. There is also oral medication to treat a yeast infection called Diflucan, which you may discuss with your doctor. I hope this was helpful and answers your question. Take care
