Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Back

I recently had two ribs out of place. I never knew that they were out, I just thought my back was sore. My sister was massaging it and she added different kinds of lotions. I got my ribs back in place by a chiropractor but now my skin stings really badly in that area. It's kind of numb and pinching. It hurts sometimes when I touch it and put clothing on it. I'm not sure if its from the mixture of the lotions or the heating pad I use at night. What do you think its from?
