Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Eye
Hi,while cooking this morning, I think some hot oil spat out of the pan into my eye. I have flushed it with saline, but the eye is still sore, however it hasn t gone red. Is this something I should be concerned about, or can it wait until tomorrow for me to see an optometrist? Should I keep flushing it with saline in the meantime?Many Thanks.

It seems from the history that you are having soreness of eye following fall of hot oil into the eye.
The soreness indicates damage to the eyes in the form of corneal epithelial damage. The treatment is by use of antibiotic eye drops and artificial tears eye drops.
Since it may have involved the cornea, it is better to take treatment under the supervision of your doctor. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
