Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Knee

I am in high school and seem to have a knee injury of some sort. I played basketball and was hit in the side of the knee multiple times and it was bad enough to cause bruises, but nothing more. Once that injury was almost healed I was walking home one day and i had a car hit me in the same side of the knee. (thankfully he was going no more than 10mph.) And its been about 4 months and my knee is still bothering me. Any ideas?
