Suggest Remedy For Soreness In Thumb And Fingers

About a 1/2 hour ago, my thumb all of a sudden started to feel pinched and swollen. I can see the vein and the thumb looks red. Is it a blood clot? Yesterday I noticed my fingers on my left hand were twitching as well. Do you think these two things could be related? I am 28 years old about 110 pounds, 5ft. 1in and have had generally good health.
