Suggest Remedy For Soreness,burning Sensation And Pigmentation In Upper Lips

Hi,My lips have developed a soreness around the outer lining of the upper lip ( more to the middle) and also the lower lip lining ( outside)... I only developed it recently -I have moisturised them more but the burning sensation is not going away-the pigmentation is deeper on the areas that are sore also...can you give me some advice please

The possible diagnosis of the condition based on the description of the lesions is herpes labialis which is a viral infection caused by herpes simplex virus.It gets reactivated in periods of stress and physical activity. It can be treated with oral antiviral called Acyclovir. Consult your dermatologist regarding the above mentioned therapy. Regards
