Suggest Remedy For Sporadic Heartbeat-like Sound In The Ear

In the last week+ I noticed that several times a week (initially once or twice a day) I can hear my heart beat in my right ear. Usually it lasts only for a few seconds and then stops. I notice it most when first lying down and for the first time this evening I noticed it right after climbing two flights of stairs. Shortly thereafter I reclined in a chair at a 120 degree angle) and it kept happening every few minutes for a few seconds and then stopped. This is the most frequently I ve ever noticed it occur. I ve read up on pulsatile tinnitus, but since mine s not constant should I be concerned? I have normal blood pressure (120/80 or 70). What would you advise I do? (I know in past years I ve experienced this on occasion but never on a regular or frequent basis.)
