Hi.
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain
stiffness in jaw and neck along with
radiating pain to neck can be due to Temporomandibular joint dysfunction which can occur due to a number of reasons like physical trauma, excessive mouth opening, Arthritic changes in jaw, articular disc dislocation etc..
It leads to stiffness in jaw which can extend to neck and cause pain and discomfort..
Stress can also lead to the following problems..
In case if you have been sitting for long in a same position with mouth open like for a dental treatment can lead to muscular
fatigue along with pain and stiffness due to lactic acid deposition..
You should take a combination of
muscle relaxant and painkillers like NUCOXIA-MR or FLEXON-MR twice a day along with
massage over the painful side starting from the jaw and extending towards the neck using oil so as to relax the muscles..
Do warm compresses over the offending side..
In case if the pain does not resolve consult an Oral Physician and get evaluated and he/she can advise you to get an
x ray of jaw and neck done to rule out the exact cause of the stiffness and treat you accordingly..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards..
