Suggest Remedy For Stiffness & Sore Joints

I dislocated my pinky finger as a child and I am now 40. The joint between metacarpal and proximal phalanx on the fourth finger (pinky) of my right hand is now larger than the other hand and the joint gets stiff and very sore when used a lot, especially when I golf since I use and interlocking grip. What can I do to help eleviate the pain when golfing and what can be done in the long term?
