General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The Galvus met is a combination of Vildagliptin and Metformin used for controlling diabetes in various patients. As there is stomach upset in concern with side effect of the medicine, I would recommend:
@ Gradual dose titration
@ Intake of proton pump inhibitor as omeprazole or others on empty stomach
@ Taking care of possible constipation

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
