Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..
I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..
As per your complain it seems that due to severe
sinus infection and
post nasal drip there has been blockage of the Eustachian tubes due to accumulation of mucous and fluid in the tubes as there are present in the area behind the nose and goes up to middle ear..
I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and he can advise you to get an Otoscopic examination done to confirm the cause..
In case if there is blocked Eustachian tubes then he will advise to to take decongestants oral like
Phenylephrine and nasal sprays containing
Xylometazoline..
You will be advised to take anti allergics like Levocetrizine..
As you have a chronic case you can be advise Pressure Equalization tubes to be put in the ears that will maintain pressure as well as ease in
drainage..
You should also take proper treatment of sinus infection as it will help in preventing excess mucous formation and will prevent blockage of the tubes..
Hope this information helps..
Thanks and regards.
