Suggest Remedy For Stuffiness In Nose

I ve had a major to minor stuffiness since early July. Lots of sneezing, too. It s been considerably better recently, but it s still there. 90% of the time it s just the right side. And when I sniffle , it tastes nasty. When I can blow my nose, it s usually clear.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Stuffiness along with sneezing is suggestive of Rhinitis of allergic origin.
The stuffy feeling indicate engorged tissues in the nose called turbinates or may also be associated with Deviated Nasal Septum.
TO confirm the diagnosis, I would advise you to have an ENT Surgeon examination to see for the primary problems and secondary changes it has caused.
A CT scan of the nose and sinuses will help to understand the position of sinusitis as you have a history of nasty taste on sniffling.
A course of an antibiotic, antihistamine, and decongestant nasal drops and tablet will help.
IF on investigations you have symptomatic Deviated Nasal Septum or polyp, surgery may be indicated.
