Suggest Remedy For Stuffy Nose

my brother is 81 years old, has had a stuffy nose for about 4 weeks that comes & goes. Now I hear a cough sometimes...he has a good appetite, no fever, no aches, no sore throat, non-smoker, ears seem to be a little plugged up. should I worry? I plan on taking him to the doctor eitger Friday or onday...whenever we can get in. Should I be overly concerned?

Cough may be because of mouth breathing due to stuffy nose.
Make him warm water for the same .
