Suggest Remedy For Swelling Across The Face

i just had a root canal done on wednesday on my lower right front tooth and im still in a lot of pain and i have not had a appetite since then well i had some swelling after but now i realized the swelling is spreading to the whole side of my face and its hot to the touch.i dont have another appointment till tuesday but i am scared that there can be more going on.do you think i can wait or should i go in now??i dont have anyother health issues except for my teeth or wait i do have high blood pressure that is being treated with meds.

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The possible cause for the swelling and pain could be the exacerbation of the infection or endodontic flare up. nothing to worry you consult your endodontist and take a course of antibiotics like penicillin 500mg tid, metronidazole 400mg bid (if you are not allergic). do not apply pressure over the swelling by touching. do not give hot fomentation.
