Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Bruising In Ankle

hello, i hit my leg and felt about 3 weeks ago, i hit my leg at the tibia closed to the ankle. the problem is that to that moment i didn't have problems just a scratch. but 6 days later my ankle was swollen and bruised but i can walk . but it didn't past until now.what could it been?
