Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Burning Sensation In Lips

Hi... Swollen burning corner of lower lip and onto skin below lip. Tiny bumps that seep fluid kind of gold tone. What is it? I think I experienced this about six or seven years ago. Is it form of herpes zoster from someone who kissed me? Rrrr. Thank you.

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain burning sensation at the corners of the lips with small bumps that seeps clear fluid can be Herpatic chelitis caused by herpes simplex virus 1 that forms fluid filled blisters..

I would suggest you to consult a Dermatologist and get evaluated and he can do a thorough clinical evaluation and also do viral culture of the fluid..
Other tests like antigen-antibody reaction, polymerase chain reaction can also be advised..

In case if it is herpes infection then antiviral medications like oral and topical antiviral medications like Acyclovir, Valacyclovir can help in reducing the duration and frequency of the disease..
