Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Headache Caused By A Fall

Hello, I fell down some steps and hit my temple on a tiled floor 36 hours ago. I don t think I lost consciousness but I can t remember. I felt fine, other than swelling and a headache, until this morning. I feel queasy and have got a black eye and increased swelling. Is this normal? Should I go to a doctor?

Hello and welcome
increasing swelling and black eye is a matter of concern following a fall this indicates a ongoing bleeding inside of brain or eye
as such you can't able to remember this could be due to brain damage during fall

in my opinion you should visit a neurologist for clinical examination and an CT scan to look for collection of blood or neurological deficit

keep your eyes open and keep a close watch for ear nose or throat bleeding headache dizziness or blurry vision
Don't stay alone you may become unconscious
You can take acetaminophen for headache
Hope this addresses your question
