Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Irritation On Outer Hip Due To Hitting

Hi, i hit my outer hip on a metal parking meter and it was swollen. i rubbed it for a few days but it started turning black. now i am feeling a bit irritated where it was swollen. what should i do as i am worried it may be decaying in the inside or something. i am 27 years and in good health otherwise.
