Suggest Remedy For Swelling And Scarring On Knuckle Due To Injury

my boyfriend when he was at work a thick tree branchh fell on his hand it was already swolling from a previous scar on his nuckle and now its a extra scar from where the thick tree branch fell on his hand.now its been swollen for 2days what should we do??
