Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Entire Body, hot Flushes, light Sleep And Shortness Of Breath
Hi, Thank you for offering your advice online. I was recently diagnosed with Diabetes because my HdA1C level showed 7.6%, my Fasting Sugar level was 135 and my post fasting level was 197. My MD said that I dont have any symptoms of Diabetes and so didn t start me on any medicines. He suggests that a change in my lifestyle (healthy diet & weight loss) might help me in keeping myself off the medications because my body is producing insulin but there is insulin resistance.I have been noticing swelling in my entire body. An abnormal swelling in my left foot led me to take the tests which resulted in diabetes. I also experience hot flushes at night, my sleep is very light and I wake up several times in the night with shortness of breath. I want to know what s going on and if there is any way that I could reverse my diabetes
Hi. What your M.D did was a very good thing. It is preferable to start with lifestyle modification first for diabetes. The symptoms like light sleep , Shortness of breath may not be related to diabetes. Unfortunately you have not mentioned your weight and if you are a male or female. generally these symptoms can be a result of obstructive sleep apnoea, If female a premenopausal symptom. So based on a proper history we can reach the right conclusion.
