Suggest Remedy For Swelling In Hand

I felt slight pain in my left hand & when I looked down at it, it was very swollen on the top, from the middle finder over to the baby finger. It was very purple in colour and had some red blottiness as well. The purple colour has moved up my ring finger as well. It is sore to touch & I had not been outside as yet & and no knowledge of being bite by anything. Any suggestions!!
