I got hit on the forehead just above me left eye with the corner of a car door. A large bump immediately appeared with a cut in the center of it. A little bit of blood came to the surface of the cut and that was all that it bleed. I put ice on it as long as I could tolerate it at a time for about an hour. The bump went down about half the size it originally was. But it is still swollen and some of the swelling has migrated into my eye area. It has been about 4 to 5 hours since it happened and it is still swollen and still hurts pretty badly. Is this something I should worry about?

As per your case history of swelling around the eye, my treatment advice is - 1. Apply ice on the lesions twice daily. 2. Apply a mild antibiotic cream like Fusiderm cream twice daily on it. 3. Take an NSAID (Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) like Ibuprofen for 5-7 days.
