I have been at a doctor office multiple Times had chest ex rays and it was clear. I have no idea what's wrong with me and what I need to do to get better, I'm told not to do anything. If any one has any ideas on what can be worn with me please let me know.
Hello and welcome to HCM, Symptom of heart burning in chest region is suggestive of regurgitation of gastric contents into the esophagus. Regurgitation can occur due to consumption of spicy foods and / or poor tone of the gastro-esophageal junction. Avoid spicy and fatty food items. Avoid beverages after dinner. Take light food for relief. Swelling that you are experiencing could be due to bloating which you are mistaking for swelling. Take the measures mentioned above. If the burning sensation is very troublesome, you can take medicine from the group proton pump inhibitors. Consult your primary healthcare provider for clinical assessment and prescription of relevant drugs.
Thanks and take care Dr Shailja Puri
