I have been on bystlic 5g for 10 months now. For the past 1 monthso or so I have had swelling in the feet and ankles and a tightness. Now a.burning feeling. Doc told me to stop as of today and start tomorrow on the montopol. I am afraid of having 2 med in my system and having good anxiety and panic attacks like it read of other people with drawing. Is it safe to start the next day?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the Bystolic contains Nebivolol ( 5 mg ) used to control blood pressure with excellent clinical efficacy.

* However, it is associated with number of side effects, some of which are as

- fluid retention in terms of swelling face, arms, legs(feet and ankles)
- weight gain,
- lethargy
- headache
- breathing problems
- fainting

* You should stop the further dose intake of the Bystolic and inform your doc office for further guidelines.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
