Suggest Remedy For Swelling On The Shin After Injury

I got hit with a line drive on my shin last week and iced it when I got home the swelling went down but it is still bruised on the inside on my leg beside where I got hit and is really blue around the area where I got hit but is red where I got directly hit at

Thanks for the query..

As per your complain the blue appearance and bruising is due to HEMATOMA formation which occurs due to rupture of small blood vessels and spillage of blood into the soft tissues leading to formation of Hematoma and the inflammation that occurs due to soft tissue injury leads to pain and swelling..
You should not worry as it will slowly get resolved..

Treatment part:
1. Apply THROMBOPHOB GEL over the bruised area as it contains Heparin Sodium and help in faster disruption of the Hematoma and will resolve the bruising..
2. Do alternate warm and cold compresses..
3. In case of pain you can take OTC anti-inflammatory painkiller Ibuprofen [ADVIL or MOTRIN]..
