Suggest Remedy For Swollen Abdominal Lymph Nodes

my grandaughter is at hospital and has been tolg she probably has swollen abdominal lymph nodes.she is 15.in constant pain and cannot keep any food or liquid down.she has hag a ct scan which has ruled out appendix.the doctors are saying they will send her home.this is the second time in a week it has happened.can a scan see lymph nodes?
