Suggest Remedy For Swollen Ankles

I just returned from a flight from turks and caicos islands to charlotte, nc to las vegas, nv. It has been a full day since my return and I still have swollen ankles. I am 42 yrs old, 5'8'' and 135 lbs. I am very active and have never had this issue before. How can I relieve this problem?
