Suggest Remedy For Swollen Muscle Caused By A Horse Kick

My horse kicked me in the thigh three weeks ago and the bruising is still extensive, with some swelling and heat and a hard lump on the impact area. Is there anything I can do to reduce the pain/ help mend the muscle (or whatever it is that's damaged)?
