Suggest Remedy For Tear In Labia Minora

I am 26 and had and labia minor tore on the left side. It hurts terribly, and i wasnt sure if I should go to a doctor, or how long it will take to heal. I've been reading a lot Im this and many people equate them to a paper cut; this is nothing like a papercut.
