Suggest Remedy For The Muscle Strain Causing Severe Pain In Back

Hi, My wife is suffering from back pain from last few month, and we have consulted one physician and he said that is due to the muscle strain, but before two weeks she tried to bend, got stroke in the back and doctor suggested to take rest for two weeks, now she is not able to sit strait and she cannot even raise the legs while sitting in the floor. What will be the reason for this , please advise
