Suggest Remedy For Throat Infection

Hello sir,my seven year old son have a throat infection with fever since two days.The doctor subscribed him paracetamol,amoxycillin&clavulanate nd cough syrup.After taking these medicines his motions started getting loose nd now he passes watery stools even after drinking water.Im also giving him saccharimyces boulardii 250.but no use.help me,what to do now

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
I can understand the reasons of hte loose stool can be of 2 types:
1. Antibiotic itself can cause.
2. Infection from the throat goes to the intestines to cause intestinal infection.

I would advise your the following:
Change over to another antibiotic.
Send a sample of stool for testing to get an idea what the problems may be.

Give some other probiotic like Darolac sachet.
Banana, activated charcoal tablets, curds/yogurt.
