Suggest Remedy For Throat Pain, Cold And Headache

Hey, in the past weeks I had been ill with flu/common cold symptoms, headaches and a persistent dry cough. My doctor suspected they were viral infections, and the symptoms have gone away in time. However after this dry cough has subsided I was left with an incredibly sore throat, which is tender to touch from the larynx to the thyroid, my GP prescribed antibiotics for a throat infection after noticing the back of my throat being quite red. I have been taking the antibiotics + paracetamol for the past 4 days, but it still hurts to swallow/move my throat, and the pain seems to be worse after eating. Is there anything else that you can suggest to remedy my throat and manage the pain? Thank you, Riordan B.
